Sometimes it’s less film., a stronger film., no corner boards., a faster cycle.

Test at the wrapper on a phone, compare on a tablet, report from any computer. Sealy, the AI assistant in the app, answers questions on the spot.
Example conversations with Sealy
- You: The app shows a lower pre-stretch than the machine is set to, and the grams per pallet are high. Why?
- Sealy: Most likely the film is slipping on the pre-stretch rollers. Check: 1. Is the roll mounted the wrong way round? Turn it. 2. Are the rollers dirty or worn? Clean or service them. 3. Both fine? Then the film's stated pre-stretch is wrong. Correct it in the app. Then wrap a new pallet and weigh the film again.
- You: I'm at a Robopac Genesis Futura 2, downgauging from 12 to 10 micron. I can't get enough containment force with the thinner film.
- Sealy: This ring wrapper has a retrofitted automatic roping system. Your test also shows the 10 micron film is still below the green zone, so it isn't pre-stretched enough to lock the load. Your photo shows boxes. Film that isn't fully pre-stretched keeps an elastic memory: it pulls back and can crush the box corners within 24 hours. Try this: 1. Pre-stretch to around **290 %** and check that the film holds the corners without breaking. 2. Rope the film on the way up, and turn roping off on the way down, so all wraps overlap. Run that cycle and tell me how the load holds. If it still isn't right, we'll try another setting.
- You: Hi, I have a question about our C-Meazure order, #3082.
- Sealy: Happy to help. What would you like to know about order #3082?
- You: What's the current lead time?
- Sealy: I'll connect you with a person from the Palletseal team.

- Isabella: Hello! I've checked with production. They're finishing the paint, and QC has approved it. It ships by international courier within 2 days, so you'll have it early next week. I'll send you the tracking number once it's on its way. Anything else I can help with today?

Spreadsheets and guesswork
How most film tests are still done.
- Every rep tests their own way
- Results you can’t compare across sites
- A pull gauge at best, no tilt or acceleration test
- Notes on site, report written back at the office
- No KPIs for the sales director
- No expert to ask at the wrapper
What one line can look like. Demo customer, one wrapper, one year.
- 01Film cost saved per year

Demo data. CO₂e is an estimate.
A saving only counts if the load still holds.
Tilt the pallet with a forklift and scan its labels with a phone or tablet. Read containment force from your own gauge. Both results go into the report.

Questions buyers ask.
What does Palletseal actually measure?
Pre-stretch (from revolutions and the measured film weight), film use per pallet and per year, and load stability through tilt, containment force and – with Palletseal equipment – acceleration bench and C-Meazure tests. From that it calculates the cost per year and estimates the CO₂e for the customer's current film and yours.
What equipment do I need?
A phone or tablet for tests on site, and any computer with a browser for reports and Insights. You also need a scale to weigh the film used. Only the acceleration test needs more: Palletseal’s SwiftBench and an iPad recording in Slo-mo (at least 80 fps, as EUMOS 40509 requires).
How is the CO₂e figure calculated?
It is an estimate: film saved per year × a CO₂e factor per kg film. The default factor is 2.97 kg CO₂e per kg film, the generic value for new LDPE and LLDPE in the UK government's GHG conversion factors 2025. Always ask the film producer for its own figure, and change the factor per film. The factor used is printed in the report.
Can the report carry our brand?
Yes. Your logo, colour and company name appear in the app and on every report, for everyone in your organisation. Reports can be produced in the customer's language (25 languages).
